IT ALL STARTED...

on Amanda’s birthday when Lisa-Marie gave Amanda an empty book. Why an empty book, you ask? Because everything beautiful begins with a blank canvas.

Being in love with the same fictional characters, Amanda and Lisa-Marie wanted to create one of their own, which led to their first completed manuscript, Transire.

They had no idea that a simple gift between friends could become the catalyst for their creativity and imagination, and you know what they say, two heads are better than one.

Amanda

Before her senior year of high school, Amanda didn’t consider herself a book lover. However, after reading Wuthering Heights for English class, she changed her tune. Thanks to several community book clubs, Amanda was introduced to various books, ranging from biographies to fantasy fiction, from middle grade through adult. Although she’s read and loved many books, nothing calls to her like a good romance novel.

Amanda and Lisa-Marie Potter became fast friends over a popular romance series, discovering they shared an uncanny love for the same books and fantastic fictional worlds. When Lisa-Marie suggested that the two of them would make a good writing team, Amanda was all in – that’s when the writing dream began.

Graduating from Arizona State University in 1999, Amanda has a degree in mathematics and, throughout the years, has been supported by a loving husband and four beautiful children.

Lisa-Marie

I don’t know if you would call Lisa-Marie a hopeless romantic or downright crazy. Still, considering she has been in an imaginary relationship with Jon Bon Jovi since her high school days, I think it’s fair to say that she has quite the imagination. Add to that, if you will, a few side flings with the likes of Edward Cullen, Cole St Clair, Mr. Darcy, and Heathcliff, and you have the makings of a fictional romance writer.

Born and raised in Nottingham, England, a town famous for Robin Hood, this fair maiden relocated across the world, first to California, then to Arizona, and finally ending up in the last frontier known as Alaska. Despite having the last name of Potter, this brave Muggle created a magical life with her husband here in the states consisting of three incredible children and four of the cutest grandchildren ever born.
